Evolved PWI - Wings of Rebirth (1.6.2) Expansion

Evolved PWI - Wings of Rebirth (1.6.2)

New Classes

Two brand new classes are now available, making a total of 14 characters on PWI's roster!

  • Technician: The Technician is a genius fighter, using cutting edge technology such as traps and cannons to completely control the battlefield. A female-only Human class.

  • Edgerunner: The Edgerunner is a winged warrior blessed by the heavens, feared by many on the battlefield for his mastery of both physical and magical combat arts. A male-only Winged Elf class.

Evolved PWI has meticulously designed its classes to function flawlessly in terms of mechanics, skills, and overall performance. Unlike other servers, these classes operate smoothly and closely resemble the official version of the game.

While PWI removed much of the old content for classes like Technician and Edgerunner, Evolved PWI has rebuilt and reintroduced all previously available armor sets, which were once enjoyed by earlier classes throughout the various stages of Perfect World.

Some examples of the restored content include:

  • Morai Chain Weapon rewards
  • Dreamchaser Armor and Weapon Pack
  • Twilight Weapons
  • Warsoul Weapons
  • Lunar Weapons
  • Nirvana Weapons (White & Red)

These are just a few of the early-game items that the Evolved Team has brought back to enrich the experience for new classes.

Growth Guide

The Growth Guide system contains two parts: Growth Goals and Game Tutorial.

Growth Goals

Growth Goals serve as guidance for players from entering this world to finding their way around; These goals are grouped every 10 levels. Each group puts forward a series of goals for the players to complete. Players can scroll between these levels on the left side of the Growth Goals window.

Players can enter the Growth Goals menu by clicking the lotus icon next to their avatar to view the goals that are currently available. They can click these goals to quickly access the related features. If the lotus is not available, it can also be found in the Quest menu to the bottom-right of the screen. When there is an available reward or a new goal, there will be a prompt.

The goals that have been completed and rewards that are available will be floated to the top. The rewards include certain tradable items. The details can be viewed in the Growth Goals menu. Completed goals with the rewards collected will be moved to the bottom of the list.

Note: We've removed the reputation reward and will in upcoming patches re-work the completion of all Lotus rewards to provide custom rewards.

Perfect World Anecdote

The Perfect World Anecdote covers all important quests, including seven major parts: First Trial, Spiritual Cultivation, Classic, Regional, MoraiBoundary (Primal), and Western Continent. Each part features one or more stories. Apart from Spiritual Cultivation, each story the player completes rewards 1 Insight Point. The stories can help you review your past experiences, as well as point the direction for you to venture in the future.

The Perfect World Anecdote can be accessed in the Quest menu to the bottom-right of the screen.

New titles have been added. Players can win relevant Titles by reaching the required Insight Points.

We've also added a tracking option to the Anecdote menu, that can be found under every Quest chain image.

Clicking on this button will result in a new pop up menu, that will let you track your Anecdote progress properly

You can access Anecdote via the Growth menu on certain required Quest chains or via the Anecdote icon in the settings button layout:

Note: Due to the introduction of the new Anecdote System after many quests were completed over the course of 4+ years, there may be a brief issue for existing characters when they log in for the first time. This could result in a "server error" message during the initial or second login.

Rest assured, this is a temporary issue, and it will resolve itself within 3 to 5 seconds. After this brief delay, your character will be properly synced with the system and all related quest data will align correctly.

Faction Interface

Evolved PWI has completely revamped the Faction interface and introduced a new system to streamline the recruitment process. We understand that, as a new player, it can often be difficult to connect with busy Faction leaders or coordinate with Executors and Marshals based on their online availability. To address this, we've created a system that allows both Factions and potential members to find each other more efficiently.

Searching for a Faction

Players can now open the Faction Interface by pressing G, which will display a list of Factions currently recruiting, along with their specific requirements for joining. Whether you're a new player or currently factionless, you can browse these listings and apply to any Faction that interests you.

Faction leaders will be able to review applications at any time, regardless of whether they are online or offline, and decide who to invite or decline. This system ensures that the recruitment process continues smoothly, even outside of peak hours or when leaders are unavailable.

Faction Interface Functions

The new Faction Interface brings several Quality of Life improvements, with more features currently in development and set to be revealed in upcoming patches. However, the core functions are already fully operational. One of the most useful features is the Territory War Tab, which allows Faction Leaders to easily place bids and declare wars directly from the menu.

Additionally, members can now join a Territory War from anywhere on the World map through the same tab, making participation more accessible and convenient than ever.

Faction Interface Basics

The new Faction Interface presents a vibrant, user-friendly display of all members, showing their online/offline status and the date of their last login. This makes it easy to track member activity at a glance. Additionally, all previous features remain fully intact, including the ability to:

  • Invite new players
  • Grant titles (nicknames)
  • Send group mails
  • Promote or demote members

These features are now more accessible and visually intuitive, enhancing the overall management experience for Faction leaders.

Note: Features that are not yet available will be displayed as 'Coming Soon' and will be introduced in the future

Title System

The redesigned Title Menu offers a clear and organized overview of all available titles, along with the methods and requirements for obtaining them, making the title hunt much more convenient.

The title system is categorized into sections on the left side of the menu, each representing a specific group of titles. These sections are clearly labeled with the name of the category, helping players easily navigate and understand the different types of titles they can earn within each area.

The updated Title Menu now includes Requested Titles submitted by members, as well as Unique Titles that are exclusive to Staff members, providing a clear distinction between obtainable and special titles.

A useful addition is the stat boost summary at the top of the menu, which displays the cumulative stat bonuses from all the titles you've collected. This allows you to easily track your character’s growth and progress.

A new feature, the Anecdote Section, has also been introduced, related to the recently added Anecdote system. This section provides an overview of various quest chains you need to complete and the Insight Points required to unlock the new titles, offering a clearer path for players aiming to earn them..

Known issues

As you all know, the Growth System (Lotus) and Anecdote are more suited for none progressed/new chars - adding them will inevitably cause some issues are the first login:

  • Server Error Message - This is normal to receive when loging in for the first, eventually 2nd time (Due to the amount of Quests being added or completed). Caused by characters, that previously finished these quests when the new system didn't exist. So don't panic
  • Some of the Growth tasks will require re-doing things, that your char obviously has already done. (Auto-Culti, restat attributes, ride a mount etc).
  • Celestial Vale - New Podium - The new podium displaying the new classes was added and the circle in the very center of the actual podium is currently causing rubberbanding - Will be adressed in an upcoming patch, for now just avoid that small circle.
