(1.8.3 Client) Update Version 28 - Skill Expansion

(1.8.3 Client) Update Version 28 - Skill Expansion

Skill Update (V187)

Evolved PW has finally managed to update all our skills to 1.8.7 surpassing PW international and being now far more updated. We'd like to bring to your attention that from now on websites like pwpedia and such wont be anymore accurate in terms describing skill functionality as its stuck at version 1.8.0. If the circumstances ever change, the Evolved Staff will make sure to inform all our members.

There were over 900 skills, which were affected by this update and obviously it wasn't all buffs but also nerfs, which were essential in order to get certain outdated/older classes on pair with more updated classes/recently launched ones and also classes that are yet to be added (Blood Spirit and Dragon Lancer - more about them in an upcoming announcement on Discord).

Beta testers did their best to cover every single class and every single skill but mistakes are still possible. In case you realize that a skill isn't matching its description, we encourage you to report it on our Discord server.

All skills affected and changes that were applied can be found under the following link > SKILL COMPARISON <

Note: There are certain things PWI added, due to its Pay-To-Win concept, which we definitely had to reject and might be referred as "nerfs". PWI has completely given up on farmable items and their value, focusing mostly on items purchased for money rather than farmed items, and therefore enabled a lot of damage against Mobs in certain party Buffs. Due to Evolveds core concept of Play-To-Win, we were forced to make these PVE damage boosting buffs self-buff only! (Affected are Barbarian (50% Damage versus none-player targets), Cleric (50% Damage versus none-player targets)

Pet Update (V187)

Beside the skill update, we have also re-worked all battle pets (whether summoned by spawning a hatched egg or using a skill, that spawns a pet) in the following official terms:

  • Pets will now inherit 100% of their users stats (including HP, Mag./Phys. defense, ATK Level, Defense Level, Spirit...)
  • Pet users may STILL cast manually each skill at will - The Evolved Staff has decided against adding PWIs AI system for casting skills
  • Pets now have Guardian Charms - Refilling their Health to max. once it reaches 50%
  • Pets wont lose loyality when dying anymore
  • Summoned Pets will change their stats - Depending on what gear you wear in real time

Note: In order for this effect of inheriting stats to take place, you'd need to reshape your current pet(s) at least ONCE

Engine Upgrade

This is a very significant part of this patch as its introducing an engine, which PW International doesn't possess. There could be some minor issues for certain users and we encourage you darely to report EVERY issue you may encounter on Discord or either directly to Bola (Developer). The new engine, that Evolved PW is using from now on is Version 3 of previous updates we have applied to the engine. We are hoping that this performance boost will reflect succesfully our testing results. The new engine has drastically increased the FPS (Frame per second) rate in very player and/or skill clustered areas (especially fashion driven clusters) from 18~22 FPS to stable 60~70FPS and beyond!

Preview:

We hope, that you will enjoy this insanely increased performance, that wont only soothe your gameplay better than PWIs work ever did but also fix certain ancient issues the game has suffered due to its poorly optimized engine in the past (stuttering at loading larger groups of people, their fashion, flights...).

Active Quest(s) Menu

We've re-worked the Active Quest menu to its latest version. A presentation of how it will look in game can be seen below:

You can now follow your progress not only more distinct but also very clear and sorted. This will function the best for newcomers and/or completely new players to the game itself. Allowing everyone to understand the difference in quests (Daily, Main, Cultivation, Title..) and guide them through each of them without relaying on external guides.

Dawnlight Halls

Evolved PWI is adding a new dungeon - Dawnlight Halls. For those unfamiliar with it, we encourage you to read the official guide under the following link: Dawnlight Halls (Guide)

The Beta testers did their best to test it, but unfortunately we had to make the decision that a live-test would be the best way of testing it properly.

However, we decided to make this testing of a newly introduced dungeon more interesting than the previously added dungeons. So what is actually new this time:

  • During the live-testing all rewards are removed from the Dungeon/Bosses/Quests
  • During the live-testing daily entrance limit is removed (You can run it as often as you like)
  • We have added a temporary quest (only available during this live-testing period) that will reward the members with a unique title for completing the Dungeon several times
  • There are 2 modes (Deicide and Judgement) - There are 2 different titles to earn!
  • These titles will become permanently unavailable once the testing of DH is concluded and actual rewards are added to it so take your chance of obtaining them now!
  • The titles are:
    • Dawnlight Vanguard Deicide (+50 HP)
    • Dawnlight Vanguard Judgement (+100 HP)
    • Having both titles grants: Dawnlight Halls Live-Tester (+150 HP)
    • Total: 300 HP granted for completing the Dungeon a certain times

Tome Refinement

The Tome refinement system, unlike on PWI (Cubi shop only), is highly linked to Dawnlight Halls and the future rewards, that will be added to the dungeon. All further information regarding Tome Refinement will be displayed in the patch adding the official rewards to Dawnlight Halls as well as a proper Guide built around this newly introduced Dungeon.

Commission Shop (Sorting prices)

You will now be able to switch between 3 modes within Commission shop(s) or selected items:

  • Ascending prices (From lowest to highest)

  • Descending prices (From highest to lowest)

  • Normal (resets the shop/selected item back to how you originall found it)

Fashion Update (Flights, Mounts, Fashion sets...)

This update also brings a ton of new fashion added to Cubi shop. We've split the pieces in the following categories:

  • Mounts (Newest available to the top of the Mount category)
  • Flights (Newest available to the top of the Flights category)
  • Fashion Sets (Newest available to the top of the Fashion category)
  • Fashion Weapons (Available in the Weapon Fashion category, amount varies from class to class)

Celestial Tiger (event)

Is partially a Fashion update, as is includes various cosmetic things available in the Itemal NPC for Celestial Tiger exclusive items Celestial Shard. You can obtain these Celestial Shards by killing all Mobs/Bosses spawned during the Celestial Tiger event. You will now be able to craft Mounts and Fashion exclusive to Celestial Tiger

Fashion Package (Summarized)

This patch will introduce the following (in total):

  • 137 NEW Flights in total
  • 54 NEW Mounts
  • 6 NEW Fashion Weapons sets + missing old sets for Edgerunner and Technician
  • 30 NEW Fashion sets

Character Menu & Pet Menu (Stats)

The character menu will now distinct stats asigned manually by you and obtained through leveling (colored white) and stats obtained from wearing items, certain gems imbued into the items and other things boosting your stats equipped (colored green) to your char.

Preview:

The new menu will also display when hovering over the attributes (Vitality, Strength, Magic and Dexterity) what item has added what amount to the extra stats displayed with green color.

Barbarian Vitality

Barbarians will now receive damage by adding/statting vitality. Only the white stats are considered to give damage, stats obtained from items and gear won't be giving any damage increase.

In Memory of Krull_

Today, we honor one of our own.

A permanent statue of Krull_ has been added to the world, standing as a lasting tribute to a player who will always remain part of our community. Though they are no longer with us, their adventures, friendships, and the memories they created continue to live on.

May this monument serve as a place to remember the journeys shared, the stories told, and the impact one player can leave on an entire community.

Rest easy, Krull_. You won't be forgotten.
