CREATOR NOTE

This is a bit messy, but a maybe useful step-by-step progression guide for Evolved PWI. I made it for my friends, but I decided to share it with others.

🤔WHY DO YOU NEED IT?

The goal of this “guide” is to start on the server in the most efficient way (i.e., for those people who want to know how to get gear fast and without mistakes).

Of course, some steps may not be useful for you—for example, if you can donate.

This guide is for players who are already familiar with the game, but not with the server.

Maybe it’s not even a guide, but just a collection of useful tips.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU TO GET A GOOD PVP READY CHAR?

I consider a pvp ready char as a char who has:

  • All skills including (Primal) passives
  • DEFENSIVE and ATK (OFFENSIVE) sets with +2 ATK\DEF level stones refined +12
  • At least glyphs lvl. 6
  • A Constellation with all filled Const. Orbs (any stats on orbs)
  • Most necessary titles

The hardest thing on Evolved is to get all passive skills since you can’t buy it even if you donate. While working on passives skills and doing the dailies mentioned in the guide, you will get a PvP ready char even without alts. It will take for you 2-3 months if you follow the guide.

🦮 THE STEP-BY-STEP PROGRESSION GUIDE

Here are the steps:

1. Create a char. Vote every day to get 5 free Event Gold (EG); vote even if you can’t play today.

Reminder: You can vote only once. Don’t use a VPN, mobile internet, or any other method to bypass the system. Trust me, you will get an instant, permanent hardware ban on all your chars without exceptions.

2. Make a char that is at least level 101. You can level up by doing quests (the worst way), Phoenix Valley, or PV (the better way), and card bosses (the best way). It takes roughly 330 cards to reach level 101, or about 1 billion coins/3 cubi (roughly 1 cubi = 300 million coins). If you have cards, you can easily find help in the World Chat (WC). Card bosses require coins, but at this step you don’t have them, so donate or skip card bosses for now; PV is also a good option. The PV entry ticket is not time-restricted—thanks to the GMs—so you can run it as long as you have Hypers and Training Esoterica activated. It’s better to do the first RB at level 101 and the second at level 100. Don’t forget to claim freebies from the Lotus and upgrade your Meridian for some free pills. You should also do all low lvl BH (lvl 30-90), it gives a lot of Supply Token you will use to craft R8R later.

3. Buy from the commission shop (they are very cheap) or get some of them as gifts from players: Cube of Fate Stamp (for a Necklace), Warsong Marshal Badge (for a Belt), x2 Sky Cover (physical rings) or x2 Cloud Stir (magic rings), Wing Trophy Lunar Glade (a level 90 cape with 0.05 APS or –6% Channeling Time) or Wings of Cloudcharger (a level 45 cape with good DEF stats), Championship Scroll (for the level 70 helmet), and x3 Script of Fate (for a 35 STR/DEX/MAG Tome).

4. Complete all cultivation quests and quest chains in Morai, Primal World, and Western Steppes (aka Neverfall).

5. For few days the best gear for you will be the lvl 40+ gear from the Lotus and the Morai weapon with +45 slaying level. Imbue free Stones of Evolved PW (+115 HP) in each part of gear. If you dont have many, buy them in the Event Shop, they cost just 0.1 EG for 4 pieces.

6. Once the Morai quest chain is done, it’s better to find an AEU cape run to get the belt with an extra EXP bonus.

7. EVERY DAY: Do the Dragon Quest (DQ) daily (it takes 15 minutes). It is available after reaching level 85 and level 59 cultivations, as I remember (but I’m not sure). It gives you the easiest 11 EG per day; buy DQ materials for the quest in the commission shop or farm them yourself with the in-game bot. You can create a lot of level 85+ alts to do this quest, but make sure you are online with a maximum of 3 alts at once (more is banable).

8. The only solo farming option for you at this step is to use alts or just your main char for farming DQ mats and selling them to people. Just check prices in the commission shop, find the proper monsters, and farm them with the in-game bot (F12)—it’s better to use toons for it, of course. You can skip this farming method.

9. EVERY DAY: Do all daily quests in Primal World and Western Steppes to get Primordial Blood/Barbaric Blood/Neverfall Badges and level up your Sky (Shifting Sky, the Last Sky, is better to buy from the Cubi shop later). You can use the “Action Stone” in Primal World to skip the quest routine or just use the action points you get from completing other activities.

10. EVERY DAY: To get extra Primordial Blood, start looking for Pirate Sky Drake. It appears three times a day randomly at 11:00-13:00, 17:00-19:00, 22:00-00:00. You see the system red message in the world chat once it appears.

11. WEEKLY: Do the weekly quest in Western Steppes with a squad (it’s called “Soul Purification” in the quest list; people call it “Haspon” in WC in honor of the boss's name).

12. EVERY DAY: With your current gear, run EU, JFSP, BH/MBH every day to get lots of EG, glyphs, refine orb packs 1-12, supply tokens, etc.

13. Once you collect the first 30 EG, buy the +30 attack level bless box from the Event Shop. You can also buy –21% Channeling Time, –0.15 APS, or +15 atk/def level bless boxes instead of the +30 attack level one if you find them more useful.

14. Once you collect an additional 80 EG, buy a skill pack from the Event Boutique.

P.S. You can buy a skill pack first and a bless box later if you find it more important.

15. Get 200k reputation in two ways:

  1. Sell EG to people and buy the Perfect Token of Luck that can be exchanged for a Wraith Officer’s Badge at the PWI Boutique Agent. You need 64,000 Perfect Tokens of Luck for this. It’s about 1 billion coins or 3 cubi.
  2. Open packs for EG; you can buy 100 packs for just 3 EG. The best pack is the Deity Scroll. At worst, it can drop 15 Perfect Tokens of Luck. To get 64,000 Perfect Tokens of Luck, you must open about 6,000 Deity Scroll Packs (check the link and do some math if I am not right: https://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/quest/28844), which is equal to 180 EG. Of course, after opening so many packs, you will also get a lot of more valuable stuff like Perfect Token of Best Luck, Diamond of Dragon, Diamond of Tiger, etc.—it’s better to sell them at this step of progression.

16. Once you have 200k reputation, craft R8R gear almost for free using supply tokens you got from BH/MBH. This is the best gear until you make the R9R2 PvE set. Refine it at least to +10 from packs from JFSP and imbue Stones of Evolved PW (+115 HP). Roll Atk lvl/GoF on the R8R weapon by buying a Fortifications Seal from the commission shop—they are very cheap. Refine your weapon to +12.

17. At this stage of progression, you can try to attend the mass PvP event Nation War (NW) to get supply tokens (craft the Seal of War and sell them).

18. The one more solo farming option at this stage is Nirvana. As I remember, you farm about 10–12 million coins per run if you sell all mats. You can do as many runs as you want, but you have to buy a key for 3 million coins from the Mysterious Old Man. Also, Nirvana can only be opened with 2 players, so ask someone or create a toon. You can also try to farm TT/Lunar, but it will be not so fast with this gear.

19. A squad needed farming option at this stage is Warsong. You can find a squad for FWS (full Warsong) runs; it drops some useful items and Basic Badges that you will need for R9R3 gear. Also, you get 5 EG there daily.

20. As for pre-end-game weapons that you can use until R9R4, you have three options:

  1.  Buy any Warsoul Weapon; it ranges from 300–900 million coins if you buy it from players in WC (the cheapest one is a +50 atk lvl warsoul weapon).
  2.  Buy a G16 (Rising Down Nirvana) weapon with +40 atk lvl; it ranges from 100–400 million coins, or find mats and ask someone to craft it.
  3. Continue using your R8R weapon, but be prepared—sometimes players will not accept you into a squad for dungeons like UDC/MM and UP unless you are Cleric/BM/Barb.

21. EVERY DAY: Start running UDC/MM, UP and UCH. They give a lot of EG, glyphs, and Primordial/Barbaric blood. You can actually start UP even earlier, depending on the goodwill of a squad leader (I used to run it even with a 5k HP and level 30 gear seeker). As for UDC/MM, you will die sometimes for sure since you have no PvE gear, but it’s okay. UCH is just a way to get more Barbaric Blood (don't trade the items to Primordical Blood, it's not worth it).

22. EVERY DAY: Since you are getting more EG daily, start buying x50 Mystical Pill every day from the Event Shop (just 5 EG), and upgrade your Meridian. Don’t buy x50 Holy Pill in the Event Shop; you can craft them for x50 Lucky coins (buy them in the commission shop—they’re pretty cheap) at the Assistant Wang Tsai NPC.

23. WEEKLY: Do the weekly quest “Primordial Blood Trade” in Faction Base (find a faction, of course) for extra Primordial Blood. To complete this quest, you need Soldiers’ Pay that you collect from UDC/MM and Resource War if your faction does it.

24. If you do UDC/MM, EU, and JFSP for approximately 5 days straight, you will be able to craft six level 4 glyphs—it’s a very good start. After that, just sell packs with glyphs for extra money to buy more important things. After doing JFSP for a week or less, you will be able to refine at least 10 part of your geat to +12.

25. Once you collect enough EG, get an additional 100k reputation and craft the R9R2 PvE set (the green one). You can buy Medal of Glory and General Summer’s Token from the Event Shop. Don’t buy Summerwind Token in the Event Shop; the cheapest way is to craft it for Wedding Candy (which can be obtained for Perfect Token of Luck) or Uncanny and Rapture Crystals (which can be obtained for supply tokens at NW forges). You can craft Summerwind Token at the Celestial General NPC.

The PvE set is the most important thing to be able to farm here; some people will not accept you into a UDC/MM squad, especially in Dragon Cave (DC). If you don’t have it, it will also be extremely hard to solo farm TT and Lunar. At the beginning of my journey on Evolved, I believed I could survive without a PvE set, but then I realized it’s impossible and inefficient.

26. To be able to craft R9R3 PvE gear, you must have Basic Badges and some cheap mats. You can get all of them from JFSP, FWS, or by doing neo-Lunar runs with a squad (the best way).

27. Using mats from the Event Shop, craft R9R4 PvE gear. Don’t craft the R9R4 PvE weapon with +100 slaying level (in 99% of cases, it’s useless; it’s okay only if you are aps sin/bm). The end-game weapon is an R9R4 weapon with 70 atk lvl for both PvE and PvP setups.

28. With the PvE R9R4 set and R9R4 weapon, you are ready to farm everything easily except DC. Forget about Nirvana; you can solo farm TT/Lunar easily now.

29. Collect enough EG and coins to buy or craft Deity Stones (+2 atk lvl) for all your PvE R9R4 gear except the weapon (it must have 100 phys/mag attack gems, of course).

NOTE: The same thing applies here as before: sell EG or open packs; also at this step, continue selling packs with glyphs if you have already made six level 4 glyphs, as mentioned above.

30. Craft a pre-end-game Necklace with 5 atk and 8 def lvl at NW forges. You can get supply tokens by doing NW or buying them in the Boutique for cubi (if you donate, or buy cubi for coins in the commission shop).

31. As for rings, I would suggest that you buy rings with a good engrave (like Sky Cover with +2 atk lvl or Cloud Stir with +2 atk lvl) from the commission shop or WC—they cost about 750–900 million coins. There is also a 20 STR and 21 DEX Sky Cover, but you must look for it in WC; it costs about 5–10 cubi or 1.5–3 billion coins. After you have rings with a good engrave, upgrade them in NW forges while preserving the engrave.

NOTE: It’s really not worth upgrading rings without engraves; get them with at least +2 atk lvl. Don’t think that people who sell such rings get those engraves by simply rolling them—long ago, rings on Evolved were stackable and people just copied them. As time goes by, these rings with engraves become more expensive.

32. Get the Wings of Ascension (WoA) cape by crafting it yourself from an AEU cape run or by buying it from people (about 600 million coins).

33. Get a Crown of Madness (CoM); it costs about 25 cubi, or buy materials for it from the commission shop or WC and craft it yourself.

34. Stop selling glyph packs; now you must get six level 6 glyphs.

35. Get the easiest titles set:

  • World titles (which must be completed by just doing quest chains – Title System (Official)
  • UDC/MM titles (craft for items you get for runs)
  • TT titles (farm TT)
  • Nirvana titles
  • Rising Down titles (molds are very cheap)
  • Anecdote titles (just complete quests)

36. Buy Emperor (2.5 billion coins) or craft it yourself for supply tokens.

37. Put +2 atk lvl stones in your necklace and R9R4 belt from the PvE set (stones for the belt are optional; you can actually skip it until you get more important gear).

38. At this step, you have:

  • End-game R9R4 PvE green set and an end-game R9R4 weapon;
  • End-game rings;
  • A pre-end-game necklace from NW forges (Jaden is an end-game necklace; it costs about 250 cubi, but it’s not a big deal—most people don’t have it);
  • A pre-end-game cape and helmet—WoA and CoM—which give an 8 atk lvl bonus (you can enhance them to the second recast later at the NPC “Old Dwarf Knight”, which are the end-game ones);
  • A pre-end-game tome, Emperor (you can enhance it to Necronomicon at the NPC “Goblin Miner”, which is the end-game tome);
  • Level 6 glyphs, which are more than enough even for PvP;
  • The most necessary set of titles.

39. Now you are ready to farm DC with a squad. It takes about 8–10 minutes per run, and you get Dragon Tokens that you can use for Const orbs or just sell them (about 500 million coins per run; very easy money since DC is spammable). While it’s pretty rare for people to form a squad for DC, don’t miss the opportunity to go there.

40. Read the guide about the Constellation System (https://evolvedpw.com/database/article/constellation-system) - the very custom thing on Evolved—and get a Const with the skill you need. I would suggest a Const with the skill “All-In” for every DD class, but that’s just my opinion. At first, it’s better to fill in all the dots with any orbs you have, since our initial goal is to get Const bonuses.

Now we are going to dive into PvP gear progression

41. Get a def weapon. At first, roll at least +25 def lvl on the R8R weapon; the rolls are cheap. It’s more than enough at the start.

42. Get an attack set:

  1. If you are a venomancer, wizard, mystic, psychic, stormbringer, cleric, or archer, craft R8RR and roll at least x2 channeling time. You can roll it only by buying mats from the Event Shop. There are four stats on each part of R8RR gear that you can roll; each of them can be rolled at 3–6% channeling time (instead of 1–3% as on official PWI—thank our GMs for that). So, with x2 channeling time, you must have about 6–12% channeling time on each part of your R8RR gear.

NOTE: I strictly recommend that you get x2 channeling time on the R8R wrists first, hone it to -12%, and then upgrade to R8RR saving stats. Other parts of R8R give you only 1-3% channeling time as on official PWI, so it’s better to roll R8RR.

  2. If you are a blademaster, barbarian, sin, seeker, technician, edgerunner, or duskblade, craft x5 R9R3 gear (an armor, pants, boots, wrists, and a belt).

43. Put +2 atk lvl stones in your attack set; in an R9R3 belt, put +32 spirit stones. Put +2 atk lvl stones in WoA and CoM.

44. Get a def set; it’s the same for everyone. Craft a def set that consists of R9R4 gear (ring, belt, armor, and boots) and R9R gear (pants and wrists). Put +2 def lvl stones in each of them. Buy or craft one more WoA and CoM, and put +2 def lvl stones in those as well. If you are an arcane (magic) class, CoM is your end-gear def helmet. If you are a heavy/light class and you want an end-game def helmet, I recommend that you join a faction with a Faction Helmet and do three faction base daily quests for 2–3 months straight (the duration depends on the faction base level), or just use CoM with +2 def stones—it’s not so bad. You can complete dailies there quickly using action points.

45. Get one more necklace from NW forges and put +2 def lvl stones in it. Put +2 def lvl stones in your R9R4 belt (not the PvE one).

46. Get an R8RR weapon and roll it using mats from the Event Shop until you get at least +32 def lvl, or even more (depending on your appetite).

47. Buy one Sky Cover and one Cloud Stir with a +2 def lvl engrave in the commission shop or WC; they range from 3–10 cubi. After that, upgrade the rings in NW forges while preserving the engrave.

48. Get +2 atk\def lvl orbs for your Const. Then, get better phys/mag def and HP orbs.

49. As you farm more and more, you must buy a Paramount Genie first, then an upgraded CoM and WoA, and Necronomicon tome. Then get\buy the rest of the titles like Legendary Weapon, Legendary Ironsmith, Lunar, and Warsoul. Then farm for better glyphs—I personally stopped at level 8 glyphs because it’s very hard to get higher ones. Then, buy better orbs for your Const.

50. When you feel you are a warrior who’s ready to destroy people at Sirry a pretty end-game, buy Jaden Necklace for your attack set and work on lvl. 9-10 glyphs.
